The Elta Qube SQUHT High Temperature Centrifugal Box Fan is a heavy-duty, insulated extraction fan engineered for demanding applications involving high-temperature airstreams. Combining powerful centrifugal performance with low-noise construction and a motor positioned outside the extracted airstream, the SQUHT is particularly well suited to demanding commercial kitchen and industrial ventilation systems.

Available in four box sizes from 500mm to 1020mm, the Qube SQUHT offers a versatile solution for ventilation systems requiring reliable extraction at elevated temperatures. Its specialist construction allows the fan to handle continuous airstream temperatures of up to 120°C.

High-Temperature Motor-Out-of-Airstream Design

One of the major advantages of the Qube SQUHT is that its motor is positioned outside the main extracted airstream.

This protects the motor from the high-temperature air passing through the fan and enables the unit to operate with airstream temperatures of up to 120°C, making it considerably more appropriate for challenging extraction applications than a conventional box fan where the motor is exposed directly to the airflow.

High-Efficiency Backward Curved Impeller

The SQUHT incorporates a high-efficiency backward curved aluminium impeller manufactured from EN-AW 5754 aluminium.

Its non-overloading power characteristic provides dependable performance across its operating range, while the impeller is dynamically balanced to G6.3 according to ISO 1940-1 to help minimise vibration and support smooth, reliable operation.

AC & High-Efficiency EC Motor Options

The Qube SQUHT is available with either conventional AC motors or high-efficiency IE6 EC permanent-magnet motors, allowing the appropriate configuration to be selected according to the requirements of the extraction system.

AC versions use IP55 three-phase motors and can be speed controlled using a suitable Variable Frequency Drive (VFD). EC versions incorporate high-efficiency permanent-magnet technology with integrated electronic protection against overload, excessive temperature and locked-rotor conditions.

Low-Noise Insulated Construction

For installations where noise needs to be controlled, the Qube SQUHT features 25mm-thick double-skinned panels containing acoustic insulation, helping reduce radiated fan noise.

The casing uses a corrosion-resistant extruded aluminium frame with aluminium corners and removable pre-galvanised steel panels, creating a robust enclosure designed for long-term professional use.

Flexible Multi-Discharge Installation

The SQUHT has been designed with installation flexibility in mind. Its interchangeable, removable panels allow the outlet position to be altered on site, helping installers adapt the fan to suit the ductwork configuration rather than unnecessarily redesigning the ventilation system around the fan.

A 90° outlet configuration is supported, making the Qube particularly useful where space or duct routing presents installation challenges.
